Evaluating the Quality and Impact of Community Benefit Programs

Description: In the past, hospital community benefit has been measured and judge by how much is spent on financial assistance and other community health improvement services. While dollars spent is an easy metric to capture, it doesn't tell us what impact community benefit is having on targeted community health needs. This webinar will focus on telling a new community benefit story in the health reform environment. It will address the questions: Why do we need a new story? How do we assess quality and impact? How do we describe to regulatory and community audiences how our hospitals are making an impact?
